Why We Built This Site
Kentucky records do not sit in one master public file. The Grant County Sheriff keeps its own law-enforcement material, while the Grant County Detention Center creates the booking and custody record. Circuit Court Clerk Wray J. Jump maintains Grant Circuit and District Court case files at the Judicial Center in Williamstown. Kentucky State Police maintains fingerprint-supported criminal-history information and the public sex offender registry. The Kentucky Court of Justice Administrative Office of the Courts separately offers FastCheck and One-Time Request statewide court reports. This resource brings the official contacts, request steps, search fields, legal limits, and known fees into a Grant County framework without treating those different products as interchangeable.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference resource. It has no affiliation with Grant County Fiscal Court, a Kentucky court, the Grant County Sheriff, a police department, Kentucky State Police, or any other public agency. Those boundaries mean:
- We do not issue certified court copies, arrest reports, booking files, or fingerprint records
- We cannot submit an open-records request, correction request, or expungement filing for a reader
- We do not run an official criminal-history or court-record check
- We cannot interpret a charge, warrant, registry duty, or expungement rule as legal advice
- We cannot promise that an agency's hours, fees, contacts, or procedures have not changed
An official record must come from the office that maintains it, such as the Grant County clerk, sheriff, detention center, Kentucky State Police, or Kentucky Court of Justice.
Search Partners
Search boxes on some pages are supplied by outside providers. Those businesses control their own results, terms, prices, and data practices. A referral that results in a paid service may produce compensation that supports this resource. We do not set a partner's charges or decide which records it returns. Partner results can be incomplete or outdated and are not official Grant County or Kentucky records.
